Return & Exchange Policy

At The Kutir, we prioritize customer satisfaction and aim to provide a seamless shopping experience. We welcome returns and exchanges under the following circumstances:

Eligible Conditions for Return/Exchange:

  1. Incorrect Product Dispatched: In the event that a wrong product has been dispatched, we offer replacements.
  2. Quality or Manufacturing Defect: If you identify a quality or manufacturing defect on the received product, we provide replacements.
  3. Damaged Condition: If the product is received in a damaged condition, we offer replacements.
  4. Hand-Made Products: Please note that for hand-made products, there may be slight differences in texture, color, and size. These natural aberrations are not considered defects. We encourage our customers to appreciate the uniqueness of each product crafted by artisans.

Exclusion From Return/Exchange:

Furniture Items:

  • Please note that as a policy, we do not entertain returns, exchanges, or replacements for furniture items. Due to the nature of furniture products, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges once the item has been delivered. We encourage customers to carefully review product details, dimensions, and images before making a purchase decision.

  • All requests for return or exchange must be placed within 48 hours after the receipt of your order. We encourage customers to promptly inspect their received products and notify us of any issues within this timeframe to facilitate a smooth return or exchange process.

Conditions for Returning the Product:

Points to Remember: When returning a product to us, please ensure the following:

A. Original Packaging:

  • The product must be returned in its original packaging to ensure safe transit.

B. Intact Tags and Accessories:

  • Ensure that all tags with barcodes, accessories, manuals, warranty cards, shipping label (pasted on the packet), and invoice are intact and included with the returned product.

C. Unused and Original Condition:

  • The product should be unused and in its original condition. Any signs of use, damage, or alteration may affect the eligibility for return or exchange.

D. Shipping Charges:

  • Please note that to and from shipping charges will be applicable in case of return or exchange, unless the return or exchange is due to an error on our part.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation or Modification of Order: If you need to cancel or modify your order, please contact us at info@kutirs.com within 6 hours after the placement of the order.

Note:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled or altered after 6 hours of their placement.
  • Once an order is packed or shipped, it cannot be cancelled and will be treated as a return if not accepted upon delivery.
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, The Kutir reserves the right to deny future orders in case of non-acceptance.

  • All refunds will be processed within 72 hours after receiving the merchandise back at our warehouse.
  • Our quality assurance team will conduct a thorough inspection of the returned items to ensure they meet our return criteria before initiating the refund process.

Refund Method: Upon approval of the refund, you will have the option to choose from the following refund methods:

  1. Store Credits:
    • Refunds can be issued in the form of Store Credits, which are the fastest way of refund.
    • Store Credits are a form of money with no expiry date and no limitations on their usage.
    • Store Credits are usually processed immediately upon confirmation.
  2. Direct Refund:
    • For prepaid orders, refunds will be credited back directly into your source account.
    • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be issued via NEFT transfer.

What To Do Incase Of Breakage?

In the case of breakage and any transit damage, please share an image of the received product at info@kutirs.com and it will be taken care of immediately.

Note: We will be requiring the original packaging with any foam and cushioning inside for its safe return journey of the product even if it is broken for our reference purpose.
